| I don't know who some of the people you named are since they are moltsy from overseas. But thank you for using a movie scene that features a few of my childhood favorites as well as my dad's and mentions my home town of Amarillo on top of it all! I adored Walter Brennan as Grandpa from the series The Real McCoys. I drooled over Rick Nelson as a young girl on his parent's show, The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet. My dad had every recording Dean Martin ever made and loved all of his Rat Pack and Jerry Lewis movies. John Wayne was the only cowboy that Daddy and I shared a love for and was the last movie star he and I went to see alone in The Shootist, his last and certainly one of his best movies. As for Leonard Cohen . . . how could I not love the man who wrote my favorite iahsong, Suzanne, and 2nd favorite Halleluiah? Thanks, James. Enjoyed this blog. |
